Abstract:
This study assessed the impact of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority's (TESDA) Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programs on employment opportunities for graduates of the Technical-Vocational-Livelihood (TVL) Track in Computer Systems Servicing (CSS) and Programming at Felizardo C. Lipana National High School during the academic year 2023-2024. Using a descriptive correlational research design, data were collected from 50 graduates who obtained their NC II certification, with a focus on their employment status, the duration of employment, and the challenges they faced. The findings revealed that 70% of the respondents secured employment within an average of 8.5 months after certification, with a positive correlation between NC II certification and both employment status and salary. The study highlights the significant role of NC II certification in improving job prospects and suggests the need for stronger industry partnerships, entrepreneurial support, and continuous skill development to enhance long-term career success for TVET graduates.
