Abstract:
In Tripura, a state that faces its own set of geographical and economic issues, youth unemployment is a big problem that needs to be addressed. The purpose of this abstract is to investigate the possibility that youth entrepreneurship could serve as a realistic solution to this issue. Through the promotion of an entrepreneurial mindset among the younger generation, Tripura has the potential to capitalize on its natural resources and advantageous position in order to generate new economic opportunities. Entrepreneurship not only results in the creation of jobs but also in the possibility of self-employment, which adds to the expansion of the region's economy as a whole. In order to accomplish this shift, government actions, access to financial resources, and education in entrepreneurship are required. For the purpose of empowering young entrepreneurs, the study emphasizes the significance of a supportive ecosystem that includes company incubation centres, mentorship programs, and market access. When all is said and done, youth entrepreneurship has the potential to significantly cut unemployment rates in Tripura and propel socioeconomic growth.
