Abstract:
The integration of technology in higher education, involves adopting digital tools to enhance teaching and learning, but its success depends on addressing challenges like resource access, faculty resistance, and the digital divide while ensuring continuous adaptation and faculty support. This research used a systematic review to investigate the integration of technology in higher education classroom settings. Results revealed five (5) emerging themes on Technology Integration in Classroom Settings in Higher Education; (1) Faculty Perceptions of Technology Integration; (2) Student Engagement and Learning Outcomes; (3) Barriers to Technology Integration;(4) The Role of Professional Development, and (5) Future Directions for Technology Integration. The success of technology integration in higher education depends on empowering faculty and addressing their concerns to foster positive attitudes that enhance learning outcomes.
