Abstract:
It is important to explore the uterine cavity in the assessment of infertility, because numerous intrauterine lesions can be found. Endovaginal ultrasound (EEV) is a first-line examination in the assessment of female infertility. It allows an evaluation of the uterine cavity in search of anomalies responsible for the fertility disorder and also to highlight lesions which could lead to transfer or implantation failures. This is an examination that is easily carried out and reproducible. Our objective is to detail the endometrial lesions detectable by EEV to clarify the place of EEV in the infertility assessment.
