Abstract:
Today, antibiotic resistance has become one of the greatest global public health challenges. Indeed, the loss of effectiveness of ATB due to the multi-resistance of bacteria jeopardizes progress in modern health care and will compromise our ability to fight infectious diseases, notably nosocomial infections in intensive care units, especially bacteremia. The aim of this study is to describe the epidemiological profile, as well as the antibiotic resistance profile of the different strains of multi-resistant BMR bacteria, which will subsequently lead us to discuss our results and compare ourselves to the various studies found in the literature, which will allow us to address the different aspects of prevention of these BMR bacteremias which increasingly constitute a real danger for the years to come.
