Abstract:
Appendicular pregnancy is an extremely rare form of ectopic pregnancy. This condition occurs when the fertilized egg implants in the appendix. The article details the diagnostic aspects, clinical challenges and treatment options associated with this type of pregnancy. Symptoms are often similar to those of acute appendicitis, making early diagnosis difficult. Treatment usually involves emergency surgery to prevent potentially serious complications.
