The insecticides tested were Match, Proclaim, Tracer, Talstar, Steward and Larvin were compared with a control. Results showed that Proclaim insecticide was most effective against brinjal fruit borer and resulted in lower infestation (40.1%) followed by Larvin (40.43%), whereas Steward offered moderate control (41.31%) of brinjal fruit borers. The study recommended the use of Proclaim insecticide is most effective control of brinjal fruit borer in district Awaran and field condition.
