Abstract:
Uterine arteriovenous malformations are rare. We report the case of 02 patients presenting with an acquired intrarenal arteriovenous malformation, the first post vaginal delivery with notion of uterine revision for delivery haemorrhage, and the second 1 month post abortum with notion of haemostatic curettage. Pelvic ultrasound with color Doppler confirmed the diagnosis. Arteriography confirmed the diagnosis, enabling conservative treatment by arterial embolization. No complications were reported. Failure to recognize uterine arteriovenous malformations can have consequences ranging from hemostasis hysterectomy for cataclysmic hemorrhage to death.
