Abstract:
Vaginal melanomas are rare tumors with a poorer prognosis than cutaneous melanomas. They account for less than 2% of all melanomas. Diagnosis is often delayed, and in most cases follows the appearance of abnormal genital bleeding. Surgical resection is the mainstay of treatment. Five-year survival is less than 20% according to the literature. Local and/or metastatic recurrence is frequent, and several new local or adjuvant treatments are currently being evaluated. we report the case of two patients diagnosed with vaginal melanoma, as well as their management and evolution.
