Abstract:
Chest wall defects mainly affect the chondrosternal plastron, with an estimated incidence of 1 in 500 births, with a male predominance. The etiology is usually excessive development and/or distortion of the costal cartilages. The thoracic CT scan remains the gold standard for diagnosis, type and post-operative follow-up. We report a series of 20 cases presenting with thoracic deformity, in the most frequent form was pectus carinatum.
