Abstract:
: Breast tuberculosis, a rare condition, typically affects young women during their reproductive years and most commonly presents in a primary manner. It poses a challenge in terms of diagnosis and treatment. Current treatment principles rely on a combination of anti-tubercular chemotherapy, sometimes coupled with surgery. Here, we present two cases of breast tuberculosis diagnosed solely through histology. The patients showed significant improvement under antibiotic treatment. By analyzing literature data, we shed light on the epidemiological, clinical, diagnostic, and therapeutic characteristics of this disease.
