Abstract:
Gynecomastia is a hyperplasia of mammary glandular tissue, due to a disturbance in the androgen/estrogen balance. It has multiple etiologies, the main one being idiopathic, followed by iatrogenic causes, tumors and hypogonadism. We report the case of a 12-year-old adolescent girl who consulted us for asymmetry of both breasts, and was diagnosed with gynecomastia.
