Abstract:
: Isolated fractures of the coronoid process are not common. On the other hand, they are frequently associated with posterior dislocation of the elbow, thus compromising its stability. Few studies have been devoted to fractures of the coronoid process (CA). However, they are not uncommon and can pose significant management problems, especially in the context of unstable posterolateral elbow dislocation. In this study, carried out at the Traumatology and Orthopedics Department A of the HASSAN II University Hospital in Fez, we will illustrate a case of isolated fracture of the coronoid process, treated by open-focus double screw fixation with good functional results.
