Abstract:
Teratomas develop antenatally and induce, already in utero, complications linked to their volume and compression of the organs. The sacrococcygeal region is the preferential site for their development. Antenatal diagnosis can be done easily and has become very common given the popularization of obstetric ultrasound. We report the case of a patient whom we followed for a large intraamniotic cyst whose origin could not be determined and whose fetal morphology was apparently without any abnormality detected. At birth, the diagnosis of sacrococcygeal teratoma was made.
