Abstract:
Peritoneal Inclusion Cyst is a benign disease, however, some authors consider it as a pathology with uncertain evolution, with a high potential of recurrence. It is seen more often in woman in the reproductive age, with a history of pelvic surgery, intra-abdominal inflammation or endometriosis . Our work based on a case report , demonstrate the misleading radiological aspect that the peritoneal inclusion cyst can have , that's why the anamnesis is important , indeed , our young patient had an abdominal surgery non documented . Through our observation, and review of literature, we emphasize on this pathology that is considered as a differential diagnosis when discovering a multilocular latero-uterin cyst with history of surgery. Nonetheless , the discovery of a latero-uterin mass should rule out the possibility of a neoplasic mass , the management is not consensual , surgery and hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy are options to consider.
