Abstract:
College is where the most detrimental stage of any students' journey occurs because from attaining most of the knowledge, skill and experience that they will be needing in order to face the real world into furthering their career, college is where you start. Aside from the quality of education being provided, the learning environment, interaction with the students and instructors, and even physical appearance of the location can have a huge effect on a students' learning process and growth. All of these things included in education culture which talks about the overall features and workings of a certain educational program. the thing about culture is that it is subjective and dependents on its members which is why this study is created even though there are different studies concerning education culture. Through the perception of the student, this study hopes to identify the accounting education culture in Mabalacat City College (MCC) and it positive and negative effects on the students. The data collection technique used is interview question which is administered to ten MCC accounting students. After analyzing the date through thematic analysis, the researchers identified six overarching culture within the college, six positive effects, and six negative effects.
