Abstract:
Abortion in Palestinian law is considered a sensitive and private crime, meticulously regulated by the law. According to Palestinian law, unlawful abortion is a punishable offense, with responsibility lying with the woman who undergoes it or the person who performs the abortion. Penalties for abortion typically include disciplinary and criminal sanctions, varying depending on the circumstances of each case, including the stage of pregnancy and the medical or legal reasons prompting the abortion. The precise regulation of abortion in Palestinian law aims to protect women's rights and establish legal accountability for all parties involved in this crime
