It lowers the risk of chronic illnesses including obesity, diabetes, and heart disease by improving strength, endurance, and flexibility. The objective of this study is to determine the physical fitness status of the participants which helps to create awareness among the students about the necessity of regular physical activity in order to stay disease free and lead a healthy life. In this paper physical fitness is measured by using physical fitness test battery including: hamstring flexibility measurement by using sit and reach test; determine the upper body strength by using push-ups test; the core-stabilizing abdominal muscle strength by performing sit-up test; for assessing the explosive power of the lower limbs by using standing broad jump; to evaluate a subject's level of aerobic fitness by using Harvard step test and finally use the skinfold measurement test to evaluate the subjects percentage of body fat. By following this approach, individuals can use the physical fitness test battery to determine their current level of physical fitness and maintain their fitness.
