Abstract:
An insecure website is one that uses the HTTP protocol without encrypting data exchanged between the server and the user's browser. This exposes transmitted information to interception by unauthorized third parties. Unlike HTTPS, which employs SSL/TLS to encrypt data, HTTP sends data in plain text. Risks for users include data interception, vulnerability to cyberattacks, and potential loss of personal or financial information.
