Abstract:
This article explores the need for innovation and transformation in public sector leadership in Zimbabwe. It discusses the challenges facing the public sector, including inadequate infrastructure, poor service delivery, and limited resources. The article presents strategies for transforming public sector leadership, including capacity building, digital technologies, citizen engagement, and innovation. Real-life examples and case studies demonstrate the successes and challenges faced by public sector leadership transformation initiatives in Zimbabwe and similar contexts. The article calls on public sector leaders and stakeholders to embrace innovation and transformation, and provides recommendations for the way forward.
