Abstract:
This study explores the significant contributions of Social Impact Measures and Technological Adoption to the perceived effectiveness of maritime social governance. Through a comprehensive analysis, the research highlights how integrating social impact measures ensures inclusive and equitable governance, addressing socio-economic needs and fostering community compliance and social sustainability. Concurrently, the adoption of advanced technological solutions, such as satellite tracking and electronic reporting, enhances monitoring, enforcement, and transparency, leading to more precise and efficient maritime resource management. The findings suggest that a dual focus on social inclusivity and technological innovation is essential for effective maritime governance. However, the study also acknowledges potential challenges, including the risk of overreliance on technology and the complexities in measuring social impacts. The research concludes that a balanced approach, integrating social and technological initiatives within a broader socio-political context, is crucial for achieving sustainable governance outcomes.
