Fear of mathematics referred to the uncertainty or danger experienced when faced with a problem, often due to inexperience, insecurity, or past negative experiences. However, conquered fear could lead to personal happiness by learned new skills and developed new talents. Common fears included completing puzzles, making mistakes, and fear of judgment. Strategies to overcome fear included seeking advice from teachers or practiced problem-solving. The study aimed to investigate the factors of fear of math on learners' math performance and the influence of teachers on mathematics performance. This study was conducted among the five math teachers of Diplahan National High School who are responsible for teaching math subjects. The study utilized descriptive correlational research which was employed with the qualitative method of gathering and analyzing the data. The questionnaires and interviews were used as the main process in data gathering. The study aimed to analyze the factors that contributed to the fear of mathematics among learners on how it affects their performance in mathematics subject. The instrument included investigation and questions to ensure a comprehensive analysis. By applying random sampling methods and collecting data through investigation of the math teachers along with test questionnaires, the study intended to analyze the factors affecting learners in mathematics performances to gain valuable insights for educational improvement. The study revealed that learners' mathematical performance is influenced by fear of failure, past experiences, and math teachers. To overcome these issues, teachers employ teaching philosophy, traditional strategies, demonstrations, and hands-on learning methods.
