Abstract:
This study aims to determine the level of student motivation in participating in physical education, sports, and health learning. This study is a quantitative descriptive study with a survey research type. Data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive statistics with interval categories. The results of the study were that out of 64 students, 22 students were in the very high category, 30 students were in the high category, 7 students were in the medium category, and 5 students were in the low category. The average result was 61% which was included in the very high category, therefore it can be concluded that the motivation of grade VIII students in participating in PJOK learning was in the very high category. This study provides implications as a benchmark for teacher assessment in PJOK learning.
