Abstract:
This research aims to describe the implementation of character education through history lessons and a project designed to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students, based on the independent curriculum. The nation and state face several challenges: (1) a misalignment in applying Pancasila values; (2) a shift in ethical values in national and state life; (3) decreasing awareness of national values; (4) national disintegration; and (5) weakening national independence. The study focuses on implementing character education through both intracurricular and co-curricular activities. The P5 project, a co-curricular activity, seeks to help students develop competencies and character values aligned with the Pancasila student profile. This research employs qualitative methods and uses an interactive model for data analysis. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation, and documentation. The findings of this research can enhance students' character values.
