Abstract:
This paper examines the roles of House Fellowship in discipleship. The central objective is to explore the importance of house fellowship in the discipleship process and in particular, how house fellowship strengthens Christianity and wins souls to Christ through evangelism. This paper conducts a qualitative analysis ,which builds on the communitarian theory and theological perspective and provides an original data, which examine the basis for house fellowships, its historical and biblical roots, and the practical relevance to modern church practices. The paper argues that House fellowships, also known as small group meetings or cell groups, are important components of many Christian churches, therefore such practices should be promoted to build the Christian community especially among the Pentecostal churches. The study elaborates on the significance of house fellowships in nurturing spiritual growth and development among church members as well as the spread of Christianity through evangelism.
