Abstract:
This study aims to identify the challenges faced by teachers of Kiswahili in basic schools in the Republic of Burundi. A quantitative methodology was used to conduct the study involving data collection by means of a questionnaire administered to 35 teachers of Kiswahili from different primary schools in Muyinga and Ngozi provinces.
