Abstract:
This research delves into the impact of different assessment tools on students with learning difficulties. It aims to determine which methods can improve learning outcomes and student engagement. With the growing understanding of diverse learning needs, it's important to see how various assessment approaches can meet them. This study uses a mixed-methods design involving surveys and interviews to collect data from 150-200 high school students, including those with learning difficulties and a control group. The assessment tools examined are formative assessments (quizzes and in-class tasks), summative assessments (standardized tests), project-based assessments, and peer/self-assessments. The quantitative analysis shows connections between the type of assessment and students' academic performance, self-efficacy, and engagement levels.
