Abstract:
The primary objective is to equip novice readers with the foundational skills necessary to engage with written material independently and confidently.The findings show that among the 31 students who underwent innovation LEARN, 26 of the clienteles or 83.87 % of them have reached instructional level from frustration level. The remaining 16.13% or 5 clienteles retained in the Frustration Level but shown improvement in some areas, in terms of speed, word recognition and reading comprehension respectively. Their reading performance has improved but still need to allocate more time and continuous remediation activities in developing their reading skills.
