Abstract:
This research paper examines the Common Campus Placement Programme (CCPP) of C-DAC, a premier R&D organization set up by the Government of India as a case study in Lean Project Management. The CCPP is a large-scale campus recruitment program that facilitates job placements for students by attracting companies to a C-DAC's Advanced Computing Training Centre (ACTS). For three decades, despite the absence of advanced tools and methodologies, the CCPP has consistently achieved successful outcomes by adhering to fundamental Lean principles, such as focusing on value, eliminating waste, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
