Abstract:
The study's main focus is Nigeria's agri-food system's resilience to sustainability. As per the report, the Nigerian agri-food system plays a vital role in the country's economy by offering employment opportunities to a substantial segment of the workforce and enhancing food security. However, there are a number of obstacles this system must overcome, such as socioeconomic problems that impede sustainable practices, climate change, land degradation, and inadequate infrastructure. Ensuring food security and advancing sustainable agriculture techniques require strengthening the resilience of this system. Thus, the term "agri-food systems" refers to a broad framework that takes into account all interrelated actions and participants in the food production to consumption chain. The study's conclusion, Nigeria can move toward a more sustainable agri-food system that can withstand future challenges by implementing innovative agricultural practices, enhancing financial access, improving infrastructure, engaging communities, and fostering partnerships with various stakeholders. These measures will help build resilience within the country's agri-food system and address both environmental sustainability and socio-economic challenges faced by farmers.
