Abstract:
THE MERDEKA BELAJAR KAMPUS MENGAJAR (MBKM) PROGRAM OFFERS TWO PATHWAYS: THROUGH OFFICIAL SELECTION VIA THE KAMPUS MERDEKA WEBSITE AND THROUGH INDEPENDENT PATHWAYS FACILITATED BY UNIVERSITIES. ALTHOUGH THE REGISTRATION PROCESSES DIFFER, THE ACTIVITIES UNDERTAKEN BY STUDENTS IN THIS PROGRAM ARE ESSENTIALLY THE SAME. FOR STUDENTS FROM EDUCATION MAJORS, ONE OF THE ACTIVITIES COMMONLY UNDERTAKEN WITHIN MBKM IS THE TEACHING CAMPUS PROGRAM. IN THIS PROGRAM, STUDENTS ARE DIRECTLY INVOLVED IN DESIGNATED SCHOOLS, RANGING FROM ELEMENTARY TO SENIOR HIGH SCHOOLS/VOCATIONAL SCHOOLS.THIS STUDY EMPLOYS A QUALITATIVE METHOD WITH A DESCRIPTIVE APPROACH, AIMING TO DESCRIBE THE EXPERIENCES OF PARTICIPATING IN THE TEACHING CAMPUS PROGRAM AT SDN KALIASIN 1 OVER SIX MONTHS. THE SCHOOL COMPRISES 27 CLASSROOMS AND IS SUPPORTED BY 47 EDUCATIONAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF, INCLUDING THE PRINCIPAL, ADMINISTRATIVE PERSONNEL, AND TEACHERS.THE INDEPENDENT TEACHING CAMPUS PROGRAM ACTIVITIES WERE CARRIED OUT OVER 15 WEEKS AT THE SCHOOL. EACH WEEK, THE STUDENTS ENGAGED IN VARIOUS ACTIVITIES, SUCH AS TEACHING, IMPLEMENTING WORK PROGRAMS, ASSISTING TEACHERS IN ASSESSING ASSIGNMENTS, AND TRAINING EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES.
