Abstract:
This research looks on the link between employee commitment and work satisfaction in real estate enterprises in Rivers State, Nigeria. Job satisfaction, a crucial driver of workplace behavior and performance, has a considerable impact on employees' psychological connection and commitment to corporate objectives. Employee satisfaction and dedication are critical in the fast-paced and client-oriented real estate industry to ensure professional service delivery, organizational development, and customer retention. The study uses a quasi-experimental research methodology with a sample of 207 workers from 10 registered real estate enterprises. The Taro Yamane method was used to determine a sample size of 136, and data were gathered using structured questionnaires. The study used Spearman Rank Order Correlation to investigate the correlations between the dimensions of employee commitment, work engagement, and job participation and the markers of job satisfaction, job security, and supervisory support. The results show a substantial, statistically significant positive association between work engagement and job security, as well as job participation and supervisory support. These findings imply that increasing work satisfaction variables may dramatically boost employee commitment in real estate firms. The research indicates that increasing supervisory assistance, guaranteeing job security, and fostering supportive work environments are critical measures for promoting employee morale and organizational performance. It promotes management techniques that focus employee development, fair compensation systems, and participatory leadership as strategies to encourage long-term commitment and happiness in the real estate business.
