Abstract:
We report two cases of dorsal metacarpophalangeal dislocation of the fifth finger, both irreducible by closed methods. Open reduction via a palmar approach allowed successful release and repair of the entrapped palmar plate. Both patients achieved excellent functional recovery with full mobility and strength restored.
