Abstract:
In this research, we look at bottling companies in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria, to see how employee involvement (affective and cognitive) relates to organizational productivity (both financial and employee productivity). Sixteen workers from different bottling businesses filled out a standardized questionnaire that used a Likert scale to gather data. To investigate the connections between the variables, we used Pearson's correlation analysis. The findings point to strong positive correlations between Affective and Cognitive Engagement and Financial and Employee Productivity. In particular, there was a robust positive correlation between Affective Engagement and Financial Productivity and a somewhat high correlation with Employee Productivity. Cognitive engagement also showed a favorable correlation with financial and employee productivity. These results support the study's conclusion that employee involvement is critical to increasing bottling sector productivity on an individual and organizational level. Workers at bottling companies in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, were more productive when they were emotionally and mentally invested in their work, according to the study's findings. Management should make employee engagement a top priority in corporate strategy and provide resources accordingly, according to the report. Management may have a direct impact on productivity results by receiving leadership training on employee engagement methods. This training will provide them with the skills they need to keep employees engaged.
