Abstract:
: This paper examines the critical role of employee satisfaction in enhancing organizational performance. Through a comprehensive review of existing literature, it explores the concept of employee satisfaction, its theoretical foundations, and its linkage to organizational outcomes. The study highlights how satisfied employees contribute to increased productivity, efficiency, employee engagement, customer satisfaction, and reduced turnover, ultimately driving financial performance and organizational success. Key theoretical frameworks, including the Job Characteristics Model, Herzberg's Two-Factor Theory, Social Exchange Theory, and Self-Determination Theory, are analyzed to elucidate the mechanisms underlying employee satisfaction. Additionally, the paper discusses factors influencing employee satisfaction, such as leadership practices, work environment, compensation, and work-life balance, and proposes strategies like effective communication, recognition, and training programs to enhance it. The findings underscore the multifaceted impact of employee satisfaction on organizational performance and provide actionable insights for organizations aiming to foster a positive work environment.
