Abstract:
Education plays an important role in shaping human resources with character, adaptability, and readiness to face technological developments. Through the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) policy, students are given the opportunity to study outside the campus so that they can develop their competencies in a contextual manner. One form of implementation is the Teaching Assistance program, which provides students with direct experience in supporting the learning process in elementary schools. This program was implemented at SD Islam Raden Patah Surabaya through observation, teaching practice, and documentation activities during 27 meetings in classes 3A, 3B, 3C, and 4B. In its implementation, digital media such as Wordwall and short educational videos were used to increase student interactivity and interest in learning. The use of these media has been proven to help increase student enthusiasm, participation, and understanding of the material. On the other hand, students also gained pedagogical competence, creativity, and classroom management skills. Student involvement in religious and national activities also supported character building among students. Teaching Assistance not only contributed to improving the quality of digital-based learning in schools but also enriched the professional experience of students as future educators while supporting the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) Number 4 on Quality Education.
