Abstract:
This article analyzes methods of protecting the population during a radiation accident. Radiation accidents are serious events caused by natural and artificial factors, which pose a threat to public health and the environment. When such accidents occur, a series of effective measures must be implemented to protect the population. This article discusses methods of protecting the population during a radiation accident, including the characteristics of environmental radioactive contamination, radiation safety measures, the use of protective equipment in hazardous areas, and evacuation. Effective methods of protection help mitigate the scale of radiation risks and eliminate their consequences.
