Abstract:
This article presented a comprehensive examination of the academic writing process within the context of scholarly communication. Through systematic document review of seven recent scholarly publications (2019-2024) and thematic analysis, this study synthesized current frameworks, methodologies, and challenges inherent in academic writing. The findings revealed that effective scholarly communication demanded a multifaceted approach encompassing cognitive, procedural, and social dimensions. The analysis identified five primary themes: structural frameworks for writing, cognitive processes in composition, technological integration, challenges and barriers, and quality assurance mechanisms. This article contributed to the understanding of academic writing as an iterative, complex process requiring strategic engagement across multiple stages from conceptualization to publication.
