Abstract:
This study evaluated employee grievance techniques towards enhancing organizational performance-in Nigeria Bottling Company. Employee grievances, if not properly handled, can lead to-dissatisfaction, reduced productivity, and strained organizational relationships. The study specifically examined the extent to which the open door policy and panel joint resolution contribute to the resolution of grievances and the enhancement of organizational performance. The research adopted a survey design and data were collected from primary sources using structured questionnaires administered to a sample size of 300 employees drawn from different departments of Nigeria Bottling Company. Secondary data were also sourced from relevant textbooks, journals, and past research works. The data collected were analyzed using descriptive statistics and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to establish the-relationship between the grievance handling techniques and organizational performance. Findings revealed that the open door policy encourages free communication between management and employees, which in turn build trust and enhance productivity. Panel joint resolution was-found to promote fairness, inclusiveness, and collective responsibility in addressing disputes. The study concluded that effective grievance management is a vital determinant of organizational performance in Nigeria Bottling Company. It therefore recommended that management should-strengthen grievance handling mechanisms, organize regular training for managers on conflict-resolution, ensure transparency in grievance procedures, and create opportunities for active-employee participation in grievance settlement processes
