Abstract:
Artificial intelligence (AI) is revolutionizing business and entrepreneurship by enhancing operational efficiency, improving decision-making and elevating customer experiences. This study investigates the transformative role of AI across industries, highlighting adoption trends, benefits, and challenges. Using a mixed-methods research approach, data was collected through surveys and interviews with 300 business professionals and AI practitioners across various sectors. The findings reveal that AI adoption is highest in finance and healthcare, where predictive analytics and automation have significantly optimized operations. Businesses integrating AI reported a 35% reduction in operational costs and a 40% increase in customer satisfaction, demonstrating AI's potential to drive competitiveness. However, challenges such as algorithmic bias, workforce displacement, and regulatory compliance remain pressing concerns. The study recommends the establishment of ethical AI governance frameworks to ensure responsible implementation. Businesses should prioritize transparency in AI decision-making and adhere to data privacy regulations to maintain trust. Additionally, workforce reskilling initiatives must be emphasized to equip employees with AI-related skills and mitigate job displacement. These measures will enable businesses to fully harness AI's potential while minimizing associated risks.
