Abstract:
The emergence of blockchain technology has presented new opportunities for enhancing data sharing mechanisms within Savings and Credit Cooperative Societies (SACCOS). This literature review explores existing blockchain-based frameworks that facilitate intra-data sharing in SACCOS, assessing their effectiveness while identifying potential challenges and future research directions. Through a systematic review of the literature, this paper highlights the advantages of blockchain technology in providing transparency, security, and efficiency in cooperative financial systems, while addressing the challenges that hinder its adoption. This comprehensive analysis aims to contribute to the ongoing discourse on integrating innovative technologies in cooperative financial environments.
