Abstract:
: This review focuses on the concept of "caring thinking" among university students, drawing on a theoretical framework that combines the philosophy of care ethics (Carol Gilligan)[3] and Lipman's (2003) model, which links critical, creative, and caring thinking. Caring thinking is defined here as an individual's ability to integrate empathy, social responsibility, and self-awareness into daily and academic decision-making. The review addressed several key themes: Theoretical Foundation: The association of caring thinking with improving the quality of university life by promoting cooperation and reducing conflict. The role of curricula in instilling values ??such as active listening and emotional resilience. Applied Studies: Studies have shown that university students who practice caring thinking have higher levels of emotional intelligence and life satisfaction. The impact of group activities (such as volunteer projects) on enhancing a sense of community belonging. Challenges: Caring thinking is difficult to measure quantitatively due to its subjective nature.Limited university training programs aimed at developing these skills.
