Abstract:
This paper examined the impact of Administrative corruption on the service delivery of Dunukofia Local Government Council, Anambra State, Nigeria. Little attention has been given to corruption even in spite of the much needed development that has over the years eluded the local communities in Dunukofia local government. Against this background, the work focused on one research question. Qualitative research approach was employed. The theoretical framework adopted for the study is the Social Learning Theory propounded by Bandura (1963). The setting of Dunukofia was encapsulated in the study. The research found out that: the quality of services delivered in Dunukofia is poor. Based on the finding, the researcher recommended that: The government and the stakeholders of the ministry should ensure that these corrupt officials are monitored and brought to book whenever they deviate from the established method so as to serve as a deterrent to others.
