Abstract:
This article explores typological similarities in literature through a comparative analysis of Chingiz Aitmatov's novella The White Ship and Antoine de Saint-Exupery's The Little Prince. Both narratives center on child protagonists navigating complex emotional landscapes marked by solitude, inner turmoil, and a profound connection to nature and symbolism. The study delves into themes of childhood innocence, isolation, psychological distress, symbolic imagery, and contemporary societal issues as depicted in both works. By examining these elements, the research aims to uncover universal ideas and shared aspects of artistic thought that transcend cultural and temporal boundaries.
