This article explores typological similarities in literature through a comparative analysis of Chingiz Aitmatov's novella The White Ship and Antoine de Saint-Exupery's The Little Prince. Both narratives center on child protagonists navigating complex emotional landscapes marked by solitude, inner turmoil, and a profound connection to nature and symbolism. The study delves into themes of childhood innocence, isolation, psychological distress, symbolic imagery, and contemporary societal issues as depicted in both works.
