Abstract:
This study explores the role of ChatGPT, an artificial intelligence (AI) tool, in enhancing the efficiency and learning outcomes of students completing accounting homework. It compares AI-driven and traditional methods, focusing on their effects on students' comprehension and problem-solving skills. The research investigates perceptions of usefulness of ChatGPT among students at Mabalacat City College using a qualitative phenomenological approach. Findings show that ChatGPT offers time-saving benefits for basic tasks but lacks depth in complex problem-solving. Students prefer traditional methods for reliability and deeper understanding. The study concludes that ChatGPT can be a valuable supplement to traditional learning, not a replacement.
