Abstract:
This study aims to analyze the influence of deposits and loans on the distribution of credit to Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia using a multiple linear regression approach. The data used are secondary data from 31 provinces in Indonesia, obtained through the Regional Economic and Financial Statistics (SEKDA) published by Bank Indonesia for the March 2025 period. The results of the analysis show that deposits and loans simultaneously have a significant effect on MSME credit distribution. However, partially, neither variable has a significant influence on MSME credit. The coefficient of determination (Rē) of 0.933 indicates that 93.3% of the variation in MSME credit can be explained by deposits and loans. These findings emphasize that banking financial factors collectively play a crucial role in enhancing access to financing for MSMEs across different regions in Indonesia, although further research is needed to explore other individual factors that may significantly affect credit distribution.
