Abstract:
The aim of this review is to analyze contemporary approaches in motor learning methodology through theoretical models and recent research findings. Special focus is placed on schema theory, ecological approach, differentiated and implicit learning, as well as the role of feedback. A systematic literature review identified eight relevant studies that confirm the positive effects of applying contemporary methods in education and sport, especially in the domain of precision, speed and coordination of movements. However, numerous methodological limitations were also noted, including small samples, short treatment duration and lack of long-term follow-up. Despite these limitations, the results indicate that contemporary approaches offer significant advantages over traditional methods of movement learning. The findings of this paper can serve as a basis for further empirical research and the improvement of teaching and training practices in the field of physical education and sport.
