Abstract:
Organizational leadership can lower employee turnover and improve retention in manufacturing companies. High turnover rates create challenges, including increased recruitment costs and decreased morale. This study investigates the influence of organizational leadership on employee turnover and retention in Global Aseana Land Development Corporation, San Simon Pampanga. Through a quantitative approach using a modified questionnaire, data were collected from 50 employees. Regression analysis indicated significant relationships primarily in employee engagement and decision- making involvement regarding retention. Conversely, leadership styles and recognition and rewards systems did not significantly correlate with employee turnover. The key findings of the study revealed that the respondents showed on average "strongly agree and agree" in five areas, namely: leadership styles, communication effectiveness, employee engagement, recognition and rewards system and decision-making involvement. It is, therefore, recommended that these manufacturing companies should focus more on organizational leadership strategies to reduce turnover rates.
