Abstract:
Over the years there has been increasing concern on transformative politics and democracy in Tanzania working jointly with politicians is working hard and praying for canalization of John Pombe Magufuli . Magufuli was a transformative and exemplary Leader, who upheld the democratic principles and core values of leadership during his administration and ruin in Tanzania in particular. John Pombe portaged patriotic and nationalism sense and he is often considered as a total heritage from former colonial masters. John Pombe Magufuli disputed this by advancing an African theory of democracy, articulated to inform modern statecraft in Tanzania. His theory advances a form of democracy characterized by a merger of some practices from the African past and others from the western world. In this way, he articulated the centrality of democracy in organizing public affairs without compromising its African origin but also acknowledging the influence of other democratic cultures in the modern organization of a polity. This article articulates Magufuli's contribution to African democratic discourse and the extent to which his theory of democracy greatly impact the countries' development. It is relevant to note that, John Pombe Magufuli was a unique leader and anchored his administration on dive inspiration unlike the contemporary politics and democratic paths in Tanzania were key pearl in leadership particular in East Africa.
