Abstract:
This classroom Action Research with one cycle investigated the integration of video materials and Google Jamboard in enhancing the listening comprehension skills and active participation of the eighth-grade junior high school students in Jember, Indonesia. The research aimed to determine whether incorporating video and Jamboard could improve student disengagement and low performance in listening comprehension. The data were gathered through an observational checklist and a listening comprehension test. The results showed improvements in active participation. Active participation rose from 37.50% in the pre-cycle to 87.50% in the fourth meeting. Likewise, the students' listening comprehension achievement improved from the mean score of 66.56 to 90.96. The findings highlighted the pedagogical potential of integrating video and Google Jamboard in teaching English as Foreign Language (EFL) classrooms. In addition, the member of students gaining the passing grade ?75 was 90.62%.
